Smarteq Equips for Good Times with Jeeves
Smarteq is one of many companies in the manufacturing business that during the current downturn looks ahead and works proactively with their IT-infrastructure.
"We feel it’s time to prepare for better days – we want to be well equipped when the economy turns and the ERP-system is crucial in making the business run smoothly," said Lars Ericson, CEO of Smarteq. With a business that entails several advanced functions – logistics not being the least advanced – Smarteq must set high standards for their ERP-system.
"The logistics functionality in Jeeves ERP, offering the ability to manage several products at the same time and with the user-friendly menu, is well adapted for the business. At the same time, Omnilog showed great responsiveness and understanding of us and our needs in their comprehensive evaluation," said Lars Ericsson.
Smarteq invests in Omnilog's packaging of Jeeves ERP that is developed for the automotive industry, among others, and that has had successful sales despite the downturn in the market.
"Even when the automotive industry has a recession many companies invest in cost efficient processes. Despite the crisis – or perhaps because of – we have had a number of installations within the subcontractor channel with this packaging of Jeeves ERP," said Åsa Gislason, CEO of Omnilog.
