Jeeves Announces Release of Jeeves ERP Version 4
V4 is Cloud-Ready and Features More Than 1,750 Customer-Driven Enhancements
STOCKHOLM, April 4, 2014—Jeeves Information Systems AB (Jeeves), a provider of ERP software solutions for small to midmarket manufacturing and distribution companies worldwide, announces today the general availability of Jeeves ERP Version 4 (v4), which includes more than 1,750 customer-requested enhancements, as well as technology updates to allow customers to deploy the system in the cloud.
“Version 4 delivers a more reliable, higher quality solution to our customers, as well as enhanced functionality driven by the feedback of the leading companies using Jeeves ERP,” said Magnus Grönvik, director of product management for Jeeves. “The best news of all is that our customers can take advantage of v4 immediately, due to system’s sophisticated approach to upgrades.”
Grönvik continued: “With Jeeves ERP, the core system is upgraded around the customizations. This means that customers can upgrade on their own terms and pace with significantly less effort. We don’t force our customers to upgrade, but more than 80 percent of them upgrade to the next version within two years of its release—and that’s a decision they make. We believe this is an unbeatable statistic in the ERP industry.”
Version 4 includes a number of functional enhancements. Highlights include:
- Improvements in VAT reporting for companies operating in the EU.
- New reconciliation features to drive a more efficient financial reconciliation process.
- Shipment planning and distribution requirements planning for better delivery predictions.
- A net requirements-driven Available to Promise feature, giving customer service representatives more confidence in promised delivery dates.
- Enhanced pegging tools, giving production managers earlier deviation detection.
- A new SQL mapping tool, giving customers even greater control in designing their own custom processes and workflows.
Thousands of enhancements have been incorporated into Jeeves v4, across the solution’s Financial Management, Manufacturing Management, Supply Chain Management, and Service Management application areas, as well as improved workflow design tools and underlying kernel and packaging improvements for cloud readiness.
